This coming Friday, February 3, Dave Shoesmith is going to give a colloquium talk on Nuclear Waste disposal and the role that geologists and geophysicists must play in this endeavour.
He will have information of interest to geologists and geophysicists concerning educational background needed for employment in the high-tech energy field (ie. electricity generation fields). If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to work in this highly lucrative field, then join us this Friday at 3:30 pm (BGS 0153).
As always, we will convene at the Grad Club right after the talk for a chance to chat with Dr. Shoesmith and fellow students and faculty!
